About Ocloya

Ocloya is creative studio focused on research about the relationship between textile, artistic and technology practices – with the purpose of developing new products, production and therefore consumption scenarios in the textile and fashion industry.

Creating

We materialize the ideas that we are passionate about: the difficult ones, the challenging ones, those that require the conviction that through collaborative design we can transform the reality in which we live.

Exploring

Traveling to an unknown place, with the mind and hands willing to discover something new. Entering uncertainty. Blurring boundaries between disciplines.

Inspiring

Offering experiences designed to motivate innovation through a deep understanding of the creative process itself, providing tools for it. Fostering meaningful moments to build knowledge!

This is Loana

I’m a designer, teacher and artist with a transversal profile in fashion design, having worked in product development for several companies, specialized in the sociology of design, leadership in sustainability and textile art. I currently link this knowledge with new technologies applied to textiles in artistic projects. I’m also a university professor, participating in various research groups on biomaterials, technology and new learning and teaching methodologies in these links. I’m Loana Flores and this is Ocloya. Welcome.
